The Western Australian starlet has recently travelled from the comforts of Perth, to Tamworth, Gold Coast, Bendigo, Melbourne and Sydney to chase the musical dream and broaden her connections with country music fans. While it’s been a challenge entering into a new world with some of the hottest musical talent in the Southern hemisphere, Pearson is building a solid following.
Her latest release, “Strangers”, hit the radio airwaves earlier this month. The Official Music Video was released online via Facebook and racked up an impressive 23,000 views within two weeks. "Strangers" follows on from the fan-favourite release “Don’t Ask Me This”, that saw the MusicOZ AIMA’s Best Country Artist gain traction on one of Spotify’s hottest playlists, ‘Fresh Country’. The song focuses on the relationship life cycle that often sees two people follow a rollercoaster of intimacy, from strangers, to lovers, and back to strangers. “I think most people can relate to a situation where life gets in the way and you don’t make the effort to appreciate someone, be it a partner or a friendship. If you don’t work on it, the bond weakens and you drift apart. This song is a last call to desperately grasp whatever is left, or you might as well be “Strangers”. The single is distributed through Maven Records and Sony Music Australia and is available via PlayMPE.
